Flip Chip TVS Arrays

ProTek's patented* Flip Chip TVS Arrays are designed for small circuit board applications with limited size and space availability. To reduce installation costs, the Flip Chip can be mounted directly onto the printed circuit board; similar to chip resistors and capacitors. These devices are ideal for use in portable electronics such as Cellular Phones, Cellular Phone Accessories, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), Laptops and Pagers.

Low Capacitance TVS Arrays

ProTek offers low capacitance (5-100pF) TVS protection for high-speed applications such as Ethernet (10/100 Base T), FireWire and USB Interfaces and Video Lines; while maintaining signal integrity. These products protect Integrated Circuits from transients caused by Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Electrical Fast Transients (EFT), Tertiary Lightning and other induced voltages.

Standard Capacitance TVS Arrays

ProTek's Standard TVS Arrays product line provides protection from transients caused by Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Electrical Fast Transients (EFT), Tertiary Lightning and other induced voltages. These devices were designed for applications that require multiple lines of protection where space is at a premium. Typical applications include, Low Frequency I/O, RS-232, RS-423 Data Lines, Power Bus Lines, Industrial and Monitoring Systems and Microprocessor based Systems.

Ultra Low Capacitance TVS Arrays

ProTek offers ultra-low capacitance (<5pF) TVS protection for high-speed applications such as Ethernet (10/100/1000 Base T), FireWire and USB Interfaces and Video Lines; while maintaining signal integrity. These products protect Integrated Circuits from transients caused by Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Electrical Fast Transients (EFT), Tertiary Lightning and other induced voltages.

Steering Diode Arrays

ProTek's low capacitance Steering Diode Arrays provide high-speed data line and I/O port protection from transients caused by Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Electrical Fast Transients (EFT), Tertiary Lightning and other induced voltages. Steering diodes divert the transient to the power-bus or ground and away from sensitive IC components.

Steering Diode TVS Arrays

ProTek offers low capacitance TVS protection by combining steering diodes with TVS diodes into a single package. This unique design provides high-speed data line and I/O port protection from transients caused by Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Electrical Fast Transients (EFT), Tertiary Lightning and other induced voltages. These devices are ideal for use in Ethernet (10/100 Base T), USB, RS-485, RS-422 Interfaces and Audio/Video Inputs.

Thyristors

ProTek's Thyristor Surge Suppression devices are designed to protect telecommunications equipment against lightning and transients induced by AC power lines. These devices are ideal for use in central office equipment, PBX, DSU, OCU, digital telephones, fax machines, modems and radio controlled equipment.

Modules and Components

ProTek's offers three types of Modules and/or Components: AC Power, DC Power and Data Line.
In addition, ProTek's Modules and Components are designed to meet (Surge (Power), Line to Ground and Line to Line) immunity requirement IEC 61000-4-5 (Levels vary depending upon product series).
